Pima cotton is a variety of cotton that has an extra long staple, making it durable but with a silkier hand than other cottons. Ultra Pima is 100% Pima, for a smooth, sleek cotton yarn. It would make a great summer top or lightweight cardigan. The even surface with slight sheen would show off lace or knit/purl stitch combinations very well. It is machine wash and dryable, too, so keep it in mind for baby things and kids' clothes.
