INTERMEDIATE CROCHET CLASSES The classes listed below are suitable for crocheters who have been actively crocheting and would like to expand their technical skills. If you know how to crochet, but it has been a few years since you picked up a hook and yarn, please take the Introduction to Crochet class first. INTRODUCTION TO TUNISIAN CROCHET In this class you will learn the basics to get you started in the world of Tunisian Crochet. You'll learn about the types of hooks that are used, some tips and tricks to prevent the dreaded curling issues, and what makes Tunisian Crochet what it is. You will learn the concept of the Forward Pass and Return Pass. You’ll also learn four basic stitches to get you going…Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian Full Stitch, Tunisian Knit Stitch, and Tunisian Purl Stitch. After learning these basic stitches, you can move on to more complicated stitches that use a combination of these four stitches. Students must already be familiar and experienced with crocheting a chain, single crochet, and double crochet.
