NOTE: The weaving class listed below is designed for those who have threaded a rigid heddle loom and can follow a draft and weave independently.

TWO-HEDDLE TEXTURED SCARF

Learn how to thread 2 heddles on your rigid heddle loom.  Using 2 heddles allows you to add loom-controlled textures to your design options.  You will need a rigid heddle loom at least 10” wide with two 7.5-dent or 8-dent heddles.  The loom MUST have a 2nd heddle block.  Choose 1 skein each of 2 colors in a fingering weight yarn.  By Bea Bonanno.

CLASP WEFT SCARF

Clasp weave is a simple technique borrowed from tapestry weaving.  You’ll learn how to interlock your weft yarns to create unique designs.  Your weft yarns can be from your stash—including highly textured yarns in a variety of fibers or a skein of Zig Zag or Birds of a Feather yarn.  You will need to bring a pre-warped loom using 5/2 rayon with a 10 dent heddle or reed.  Materials not included.  By Bea Bonanno.
