FIBER CAMP FOR KIDS AND ADULTS

Join us for a week of fiber fun at Fiber Camp!  Sample several fiber crafts before you go all-in on a new hobby.  Each day will focus on a specific craft.  We will use a traditional dyeing technique for cellulose fibers to dye one-of-a-kind yarn that you will use in a later class.  We will use a potholder loom for weaving both with traditional fabric loops and with knitting yarn to make a simple tabby weave.  We will learn the basics stitches for knitting and crochet.  Many of the project options are squares so if you find a craft you love, you can continue making multiple squares on your own to join for a larger project like a blanket!  Please note that the morning session is for kids aged 10 and up.   Parents and other family members are welcome to join the child, but the class is priced per person and each person attending will need to have their own pack of class materials.  By Rebecca Cook.
