SPINNING CLASSES

BEGINNING DROP SPINDLE SPINNING

If you are not able to invest the resources or space for a spinning wheel, why not give the drop spindle a try?  You can spin and ply the same types of fibers on a drop spindle as on a spinning wheel.  This class is a great introduction to spinning.  You will need to purchase the Schacht 2.5 Hi-Lo drop spindle for class ($25); a fiber goodie bag is provided in class.  By Samantha Stopple.

DROP SPINDLE SPINNING  THE NEXT LEVEL

If you have a good handle on spinning on the drop spindle, take it to the next level.  In this class, you will learn plying techniques and review the basics of good drop spindle spinning.  You will need to bring spun singles to class, a drop spindle, and some extra wool fiber.  By Samantha Stopple.
