Rowan began in 1978 in Yorkshire. At first, their focus was on producing natural-fiber yarns for hand-knitters. In 1982, they shifted to establish a stable of innovative knitwear designers to create stunning patterns for the Rowan yarns. Throughout the years, Rowan has maintained its dedication to high-quality yarns that are delightful to knit with and to wear.
