Jamieson's  

Jamieson's of Shetland began in the 1890s, buying or trading for handspun knitwear on the Shetland Isles. The business expanded to include buying and selling raw wool as well as producing their own line of hand-knit sweaters from Shetland-blend yarns. In 1981, Jamieson's opened a commercial wool mill dedicated to spinning pure Shetland wool. Almost 50 years later, they are still producing 100% Shetland wool yarn made entirely in the Shetland Isles.
