Pre-order your Schacht cherry Baby Wolf!

Schacht will be making only a limited number of these looms, so don't wait to order! The looms will ship in late January. You might want to complete your cherry loom with a cherry bench, cherry high castle tray, or cherry 9" mini, 11" regular, or 11" slim boat shuttles. 

The Baby Wolf is a fantastic small loom with a 26" weaving width that has many of the advantages of a much larger loom. It is usually made only in maple, but this winter, Schacht will be making a limited run in beautiful cherry wood. Cherry wood is strong, with a fine grain and sleek surface. The wood is initially a light reddish-brown, but it darkens as it ages to an elegant dark red-brown.

The Baby Wolf is a compact loom, idea for a small weaving space or for taking to workshops. The footprint, when open, is 34" wide by 33" deep. The loom folds to 18" deep for storage or transport. This special edition loom comes equipped with a cherry Stroller so you can push your loom from place to place with ease. It also has a cherry Wolf Trap that slides onto the breast beam for handy storage of shuttles or scissors.

Like all 8-harness Baby Wolf looms, the cherry Baby Wolf comes with:

• 800 inserted eye heddles
• 10 treadles
• your choice of stainless steel reed (6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 dent)
• stainless steel heddle bars
• removable back beam
• ratchet brake on the cloth beam
• friction brake on the warp beam
• warp separator--10 feet of cardboard for winding onto the warp beam with your warp
