The name of this yarn is odd but accurate. It is a silk/Merino wool blend but instead of having that lightest of yellow tones, this one is slightly pink, almost like a pearl or the inside of a shell. This comes from the silk, which has been brightened with an optical whitener. The yarn is soft and sleek, with a distinct luster. Pinkish Bleached Silk Merino would make an excellent knitted, crocheted, or woven scarf or shawl. Lace would be particularly effective using this yarn.
