Swiss Lace is shinier and silkier than you would expect from just reading the fiber content. It has more wool than silk but, just by looking at the yarn, you might think the opposite is true. The wool component gives more resilience than 100% silk has, as well as bringing additional warmth. This would make an excellent warp or weft in an elegant scarf or shawl. It is lovely in its natural cream color but could also be dyed using acid dyes.

This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process. (If you will be dyeing this yarn, it is best to keep it in its reeled hank.)
