Have you been longing for a luxury wool blend in a fingering weight that doesn't have superwash wool? Then Fine Yak is the one for you! The superfine Merino (non-superwash!) fibers make this yarn soft, warm, and resilient, the yak adds more warmth and softness, and the silk adds strength and a beautiful sheen. Fine Yak would make a beautiful knit scarf, with excellent stitch definition. Weavers, consider it for a lace structure!

This yarn is a lovely cream color. If you want it in a color, it can be dyed with acid dyes.

Fine Yak comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process. (If you will be dyeing this yarn, it is best to keep it in its reeled hank.)
