30/2 silk is a fine, lustrous spun silk. It is made from the cultivated silk from the cocoons of the silk moth Bombyx mori.. The natural color is a cream and it takes dye well using a dye like Washfast. The 30/2 silk is supple and strong for its size, making it a great choice for fine weight scarves and clothing fabric.
