We designed these towels for a class on two-shuttle weaving. They were so popular, we decided to offer them as a kit! The dynamic design is shadow weave, a design created by alternating colors in both the warp and the weft. They are woven using Cotton 8/4, a 100% unmercerized cotton yarn that is supple, absorbent, and, sett at 15 epi, has some heft. The kit makes two towels measuring approximately 12.5" x 19.5". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• Cotton 8/4: 1 tube each of 2 colors
• 16" weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 15 dent reed
• 240 heddles
• two shuttles
• 3 bobbins

Our towels were woven using Cotton 8/4 1430 Orange and 3161 Yellow Orange.
