These Midcentury Modern stud buttons exemplify "less is more," with simple shapes and a subtly undulating surface. The studs are removable closures that can be used to close a cardigan or fix a loosely woven scarf around your neck. They work something like post earrings. The stud has a post on the back that goes through the fabric. A leather back snaps over the end of the post from the underside of the fabric and holds the stud in place.

The design is rendered in white brass. The square is approximately 3/4" on a side, the triangle is 1" on its longest side, and the circle measures approximately 7/8" in diameter. They are sold as a set of one of each shape and come packaged in a reusable tin.
