Schacht hand carders have a small lip on the rear edge of the paddle to protect the perimeter of the carding cloth, a durable handle, and a fine cloth of 208 points per square inch. The carding surface is approximately 3" x 9.5". These full-size cards are good for cotton and other short or fine fibers.
