There is an elegant formality about the Shutter Shade Shawl. The two-color patterning evokes the louvers and structure of window shutters in the sunshine. The rectangular shawl is worked in a 4-row slip-stitch colorwork pattern throughout. Finished measurements are 25" x 72". It can be machine washed and dried flat. Designed by Mary Lou Egan and rated by Berroco as skill level "easy".

This shawl was designed for Berroco's Remix Light, a blend of 30% nylon, 27% cotton, 24% acrylic, 10% silk, and 9% linen. All of the fibers are recycled and are spun into a yarn that has very little weight for its volume. It is perfect for summer wear but can also extend to spring and fall.

For this project you will also need:

• 2 skeins each of 2 colors of Remix Light
• 29" circular needle or staight needles in US size 7 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
• tapestry needle
