Introduction to Crochet for Kids

Dec. 7 (Sun.) 1-3:30 p.m. 1 day

Crochet is a great introduction for kids to get into fiber arts. They will learn the basic techniques of making a chain, seaming, and single crochet by making a simple granny square. You will need to purchase 1-2 skeins of a worsted weight yarn (we recommend Encore) and a G hook. Recommended age: 8 and up. By Debbie Matthias.

Supplies to bring, all of which are available at the Yarn Barn:

  • 1-2 skeins of worstedweight yarn like Plymouth Encore.
  • Crochet hook size G
  • Blunt end tapestry needle
