Sometimes the right yarn does all the work by itself! In this scarf, we've used hand-dyed Zig Zag by Interlacements for both the warp and the weft and the results are as beautiful as the weaving is easy. Zig Zag is a 100% rayon bouclé that is sleek, supple, and downright stunning. It is woven at 10 threads per inch in both the warp and weft, which gives a pebbly surface and great drape. It is just plain weave, so you could weave it on a rigid heddle loom or a loom with harnesses. This kit makes one scarf with finished measurement of 8" x 80" plus fringe if woven on a rigid heddle loom or a length of about 70" on a loom with harnesses. It can be hand washed and dried flat.

You will need:

• 1 skein Zig Zag
• 9” weaving width
• 2 harnesses or a rigid heddle loom
• 10 dent reed or rigid heddle
• 90 heddles if using a loom with harnesses
• one shuttle
