Four closely related colors in plain weave. Boring? Not a chance. The yarn used in this scarf is a blend of wool, nylon, angora, alpaca, and silk and when it is machine washed, it developes a beautiful soft haze of fluffy fiber. In addition, the striping pattern in both the warp and the weft creates the look of a pixilated image. The warp is sett at 10 epi, with the threads ordered to give a blended look from one color to another. The weft uses the same color order for borders at either end, and a center section of a single color. It can be hand washed and dried flat, with a short fluff in the dryer.
