Gradual color change from light to dark or one color to another is an easy way to make a harmonious color combination. And this stole is all about easy and harmonious. It is woven in easy plain weave and the color combinations are already made for you! They are the Cheshire Cat color packs from Frabjous Fibers, which include five gradated colors. The yarn is 100% superwash Merino wool so it is soft and warm. You use the same five colors in the same order in the warp as in the weft for a serene combination of color with real depth. Because it is plain weave, it can be done on a loom with harnesses or on a rigid heddle loom that has a 15 dent heddle. The finished stole measures 15" x 68". It can be hand washed and air dried.

You will need:

• 16" weaving width
• 2 harnesses or rigid heddle loom
• 15 or 10 dent reed or 15 dent rigid heddle
• 240 heddles if using a loom with harnesses
• boat shuttle and bobbin
