Waffle weave is a classic structure for towels. It is a textured weave that creates deep cells. We've placed stripes in the warp and weft to emphasize the high points and low points of the cells. We're using 8/2 Cottolin sett at 20 epi for extra absorbency and minimal linting. If you haven't woven waffle weave before, let this be your introduction. Then you can use it on blankets, scarves, and bath mats.
