Waffle weave is a classic structure for towels. It is a textured weave that creates deep cells. We've placed stripes in the warp and weft to emphasize the high points and low points of the cells. We're using 8/2 Cottolin sett at 20 epi for extra absorbency and minimal linting. If you haven't woven waffle weave before, let this be your introduction. Then you can use it on blankets, scarves, and bath mats. The kit makes four hemmed towels with finished dimensions of 16.5" x 23". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 21" weaving width

• 4 harnesses

• 10-dent reed
• 417 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle
• 3 bobbins
• needle and thread for hemming
