Deb Essen's Waterfall Towel kit uses 8-harness shadow weave to create the look of rippling water. Two colors are alternated both in the warp (sett at 16 epi) and the weft. The project can be made using either the cream/brown or cream/green combination. The yarn is a naturally-colored cotton grown on farms in the American West participating in the Sustainable Cotton Project. The fiber is grown from non-genetically modified seed without using the 13 most toxic chemicals used in conventional cotton production and using biological pest management. The yarn is wonderfully soft and absorbent plus the colored cotton deepens in hue when washed! The kit includes a pre-wound warp and enough weft to weave 2 hemmed towels, each 15.5" x 21".

You will need:

• 18" weaving width
• 8 harnesses
• 8-dent reed
• 2 boat shuttles and bobbins

Choose either the brown or green combination.
