These easy plain weave rugs don't take any time at all but will last for years. The warp is 8/4 Carpet Warp in four colors, sett at 10 epi. The weft is Rug Wool, a durable wool designed specifically for rugs. The warp is striped for a subtle change of color while the weft is woven in bold stripes. The kit makes two rugs with finished dimensions of approximately 21.5" x 24" plus fringe and 21.5" x 33.5" with hemmed edge. They can be hand washed and air dried with a brief fluff in the dryer.

You will need:

• 25" weaving width
• 2 harnesses
• 10-dent reed
• 242 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle and bobbin
• 5 flat shuttles

We used Carpet Warp 57 Eggplant, 24 Forest, 33 Smokey Blue, and 40 Olive for the warp. The Rug Wool main colors were 156 Medium Teal and 120 Navy, with accent colors of #157 Dark Teal, 122 Medium Blue, and 124 Hunter.
