This is a beautiful blanket from all sides! The fringe on the selvedges is made as you weave so the finished blanket has fringe on all four sides. The same color stripes in the warp, sett at 10 epi, are used in the weft, for a colorful grid. We used Vintage DK from Berroco, a yarn that blends acrylic, superwash wool, and nylon into a yarn that has a great soft feel but is still machine washable. It comes in lots of colors, too. Choose one of our combinations or your own four colors. The finished blanket is approximately 26.5" x 35.75" plus twisted fringe. It can be machine washed and dried flat.

You will need:

• 36" weaving width
• 2 harnesses
• 10-dent reed
• 288 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle
• 2 bobbins

Our blanket is shown in colorway Crocus, using Vintage DK colors 21190 Cerulean, 2124 Kiwi, 2183 Lilacs, and 21105 Petunia. (Kiwi replaces the discontinued green used in the woven sample.
