• Lessons 12-16 (the majority of the book) Four sections that deal with four main types of lace knitting: eyelet patterns, lace panels, lace patterns, lace edgings. Within each section, the basic technique is shown in a simple form. Diagrams show how the needles move. Then swatches show the technique in more complex forms, with multiple lace elements or lace combined with beads, bobbles, cables, or other elements. In each case, the lace is shown in both charted and written form. Finally, full instructions are given for three or more projects that use the technique.
• Lessons 16-23 Finishing techniques (seaming, beads, tassels, and more) and fabric care
