3/1 twill is an unbalanced twill, so it shows more warp on one side of the fabric and more weft on the reverse. By using two twill blocks, you can explore combining warp- and weft-dominant blocks to create a pattern. We're using the luxurious Alpaca Silk yarn for our scarf in 3/1 twill, sett at 20 epi. The yarn is naturally light and supple and the twill structure enhances the drape.
