Edited by Lucy Brusic. To commemorate its 75th year, the Weaver's Guild of Minnesota presented its members with a challenge: take a swatch from the guild's swatch collection and build a new project around it. Forty-seven members did just that and their results are collected in this book. The projects are organized into three groups: home furnishings, including rugs, pillows, wall hangings, and curtains; linens, comprising towels, runners, napkins, and placemants; and clothing. The drafts are primarily for four or eight harnesses, although the occasional project has just two or as many as 16. Color photographs, with close-ups of the fabrics as well as images of the finished pieces, accompany each draft. In addition, a brief history is given of the guild's first 75 years.
