Detailed Description

Stop buying (and throwing away) paper napkins! Instead, make several sets of cloth napkins that you can reuse for years. This set is woven from 8/2 unmercerized cotton. The warp is sett at 20 epi and threaded in a 4-harness twill variation. The same three colors are used in both the warp and the weft, and because we carry 78 colors in this yarn, you can easily customize it to match your kitchen or dining room. (Or sofa--no judgement here!) The kit makes 4 or 6 hemmed napkins, each approximately 13" x 13". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

  • 8/2 cotton: 1 tube each of 3 colors
  • 15.75" weaving width
  • 4 harnesses
  • 10-dent reed
  • 311 heddles
  • boat shuttle and 3 bobbins
  • needle and thread or sewing machine for hemming

Our towels are woven using 8/2B Cotton in colors 5212 Honey, 1313 Medium Brown, and 100 Natural.
