One side of this rug is dark, with prominent stripes. The other is a lighter color with more subtle stripes. Use in two locations or use one side in the summer and the other in the winter. This twill/reverse twill structure is quick to sley at 6 epi, quick to thread, and quick to weave. The warp is Heavy Rug Wool, a heavy 100% wool 3-ply yarn, in six stripes, each a different color. The weft is a single color of the same yarn. The finished measurements are 24.5" x 36" plus fringe. The rug can be hand washed.

You will need:

• Heavy Rug Wool: 4 skeins weft color and 1 skein each of 7 warp colors
• 26" weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 6 dent reed
• 154 heddles

We have chosen 121 Deep Lilac, 109 Sienna, 112 Aubergine, 154 Green Teal, 162 Dark Brown, and 157 Dark Teal for the warp stripes and 148 Golden Honey for the weft.
