By Birgitta Bengtsson Bjork and Tina Ignell. There is something about Scandinavian textiles that seems perfect. Is it the high-quality materials used, the thoughtful color choices made, or the restrained use of patterning? I don't know but this book includes 32 designs for home textiles that have that wonderful sense of "just the right elements" combined into pieces that are both functional and beautiful. The projects are for up to 8 harnesses using such structures as plain weave, twill, monk's belt, rosepath, waffle weave, and color effect. The yarns used are Swedish but many are available in the US or substitutes can be used.
