Shadow weave alternates two colors, typically light and dark, to create a pattern that is based on the interaction of the colors as well as the interlacement of the yarns. This particular design also has small squares of basket weave in the center of each block that add interest. The 16/2 linen used is crisp, with a subtle sheen. It is sett at 24 epi for a firm fabric. The finished runner is 14" x 42" plus fringe. It can be machine washed and dried flat with a short tumble in the dryer for softness.
