The intricate patterning of shadow weave looks complicated but this design uses only four harnesses. Two colors alternate in both the warp and weft, creating a shimmering design that can look subtle or dramatic depending on the colors you choose. The warp is 5/2 Bamboo sett at 20 ppi and the weft is the same yarn at 16 ppi. Bamboo is a type of rayon and so has a beautiful sheen and wonderful drape--perfect for a shawl. Finished measurements are 15.5" x 85" plus fringe. It can be hand washed and air dried, with a brief tumble in the dryer to restore the drape.

• 1 cone each of 2 colors 5/2 Bamboo
• 18.25" weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 10-dent reed
• 360 heddles
• 2 boat shuttles and bobbins
