This quick and easy pattern makes one heck of a sweater. Big, cozy, bulky, and warm, just the thing for a snowy day. It is knitted from cuff-to-cuff with tapered sleeves and curved underarms. We recommend using a circular needle to accommodate for the number of stitches in the body of the sweater, but you could certainly use single point needles for the sleeve portion. We used Burly Spun from Brown Sheep Company, which seems a bit coarse on the skein but really softens after a few washings. The sweater is sized for XS, S, M, L, XL and finished measurements are 36" (41, 46, 49, 53).
The kit includes the pattern and yarn. For this project you will also need:
- one 32" or larger circular size US 15 needle OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- tapestry needle
- crochet hook size US N/15
- stitch markers
