This nettle yarn from Frabjous Fibers is 100% natural, made without the use of chemicals or machines, and hand spun in Nepal. Like linen, nettle will soften over time with washing and wear. Most balls will contain some hand-tied knots, and the slightly over-twisted spin give it a thick and thin texture. Nettle has been used for centuries in Nepal by weavers, knitters, and crocheters. Perfect for making exfoliating scrubbies, market bags, table linens and other household items. Because of the variety in the natural material, no two skeins are alike. Color and texture can vary slightly. This yarn does not have a specific gauge or recommended needle size because it is not intended to be used in a conventional way.
