Wrap yourself in this luxurious stole and you will achieve comfort, if not enlightenment. Alpaca is soft and warm, with more drape than wool. Henry's Attic specializes in natural colors of natural fibers, including eight colors of Prime Alpaca. We chose two of these to use in a serene color-and-weave pattern. The structure is actually just plain weave sett at 15 epi, but the color order makes a pattern that reminds us of Japanese printed paper. The majority of the surface is this color-and-weave-effect pattern but we've added some bands of cream weft for a little variety.
- makes 1 shawl, 16" x 70"
- plain weave color-and-effect (2 harnesses)
- 18" weaving width sett at 15 epi
- designed for Prime Alpaca (2 colors)
- challenge--alternating colors in warp and weft
