Wrap yourself in this luxurious stole and you will achieve comfort, if not enlightenment. Alpaca is soft and warm, with more drape than wool. Henry's Attic specializes in natural colors of natural fibers, including eight colors of Prime Alpaca. We chose two of these to use in a serene color-and-weave pattern. The structure is actually just plain weave sett at 15 epi, but the color order makes a pattern that reminds us of Japanese printed paper. The majority of the surface is this color-and-weave-effect pattern but we've added some bands of cream weft for a little variety. The finished dimensions of the stole are 16" x 70" plus fringe. It can be hand washed and dried flat.

• 2 harnesses
• 10 or 15 dent reed
• 266 heddles
• 2 boat shuttles
• 2 bobbins

Please note that this project is plain weave but we have found that this alpaca yarn does not do well on a rigid heddle loom. Please plan to weave this kit on a loom with harnesses.
