If you can crochet a granny square, you can make this sweater! As each square is made, it is joined to the previous one, working from the top downward. Below the armholes, the sweater is constructed in the round. Once the last square is in place, a single crochet edging is worked around the neck, armholes, and hem. The finished chest measurements are 38 (47.5, 56.5, 66, 75.5)" with finished lengths of 18 (20.5, 20.5, 22.75, 22.75)". If you like the fit of the sweater on the model, plan on 4-8" of ease. This sweater can be machine washed on delicate in cold water and dried flat. Berroco has rated this Amy Christoffers design as requiring intermediate skill level.
Isola is Berroco's blend of 38% cotton, 36% linen, and 26% viscose. It is spun into a cool, supple, DK-weight yarn with a thick-and-thin texture. The yarn is dyed with a long color sequence, as the yarn gradually blends from light to dark of a single hue.
The kit includes the pattern and yarn. You will also need:
- crochet hook size B (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
