Morrow has an understated appeal. The shaping is minimal, the stitch is stockinette, but the authentic wool feel and the elegant detail at the shoulders and adjacent to the ribbing make it special, and the A-line shape is flattering to everyone. The cardigan is knit in one piece from the top down, worked back and forth. The sleeves are knit circularly from shoulder to cuff. After blocking, the collar and front bands are picked up and worked in ribbing. Buttons and buttonholes are optional. Morrow can be hand washed and dried flat. Brooklyn Tweed has assigned this Orlane Sucche design a skill level rating of 3 out of 5 (intermediate).
Morrow is knit in Arbor, Brooklyn Tweed's DK weight 3-ply yarn spun from American Targhee wool. Like all Brooklyn Tweed yarns, Arbor is developed, sourced, processed, spun, and dyed entirely in the US. Arbor is worsted-spun for clearly defined colorwork and a springy feel. In stockette, as shown here, it gives a smooth, uniform surface. Morrow is knit at 5 stitches per inch in stockinette after blocking.
