The Little Gem is Majacraft's wheel designed for travel. It is lightweight, at only 12 lbs, and packs down compactly in its zippered carrying bag, but unpack it and it spins like a full-sized wheel. Redesign in 2020 made both functional and aesthetic improvements, including better crank arrangement and better treadle shape. It is double treadled like all Majacraft wheels, has a quick change flyer and requires no oiling. It is made primarily of Rimu wood with a bamboo drive wheel. Ratios: 6.2, 7.4, 10.2, 13.8, 17.6:1.

The wood is smoothly finished. The wheel comes unassembled.
