Lovage is that sweater that can go with anything--over jeans, a dress, mini skirt, or pajamas! It is knit in easy garter stitch, taking advantage of the natural stripes that occur to show off the structure. The sleeves and upper body are knit in one piece, cuff to cuff. Then stitches are picked up on the lower edge and worked downward. Finally, stitches are picked up and knit along the front edges and neck for the generously-sized collar. Lovage was designed for a relaxed fit, worn with 2-4" of ease. The finished chest measurements are 36 (40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)" with lengths of 27 (27, 27.5, 27.5, 28.25, 28.25, 29.5)". The sweater can be machine washed in a mesh bag and dried flat. Berroco rates this Amy Christoffers design as for intermediate skill level.

Sesame has a lot going on! It has a long color repeat that creates blended bands of color. It also has tweedy flecks for even more visual texture. It combines wool, acrylic, cotton, and nylon into a blend that can see you through three seasons. It is a worsted weight yarn and is knit in this project at 5 stitches per inch in garter stitch.

The kit includes the pattern downloaded for you through Ravelry and the yarn. For this project you will also need:

• two 29" circular needles in US size 7 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
• 2 stitch markers
• tapestry needle
