All Louët wheels have maintenance free ball bearings in the main hub and at the footman connection, a poly drive belt and simple leather brake--what can go wrong? The built-in lazy kate and simplicity of the wheel make it great for workshops. Especially suited to spinning medium and heavier yarns, the S-10 has higher speed options to make spinning finer yarns easier as well. The S-10 is made of lacquered beech with birch plywood.
