Louët's Mini Flying Dutchman shuttle is a scaled-down version of the full-sized Flying Dutchman shuttle, perfect for smaller sheds. It has a metal arch on the top to help ease the shuttle through sticky sheds. It also has a plastic band that bows out on the side. The yarn feeds through an eye on this and the position of the eye allows the yarn to feed off the quill more smoothly, helping create more uniform selvedges. Please note: This is not a shuttle to use in a fly shuttle beater.

The Mini Flying Dutchman shuttle is designed for use with paper quills, like these 5.3" quills, available in bundles of 10.
