There is a reason that 8/2 cotton is a classic for towels. It is fine enough to make a fabric that can fit inside a juice glass but not so fine that weaving progress is too slow. This set of towels relies on color-and-weave effect to create rectangles inside of rectangles. This is an easy threading sequence and easy treadling sequence--perfect for listening to a podcast or audiobook! The kit makes 4 hemmed towels, each approximately 14.5" x 22". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 8/2B cotton: 1 tube each of 3 colors
• 17" weaving width
• 6 harnesses
• 10-dent reed
• 339 heddles
• 2 boat shuttles and 3 bobbins

Our towels are woven using 8/2B Cotton in colors 4273 Dark Purple, 1313 Medium Brown, and 100 Natural.
