Log cabin is an easy plain weave pattern, using only two harnesses but drawing the pattern from the effect of alternating colors in the warp and weft. With this kit, you begin by weaving two towels using the Ad Astra 4/2 cotton for the warp and weft, with the warp sett at 12 epi. Then you will weave a rug using mop cotton and one color of the Ad Astra for the weft on the remaining warp. The hemmed towels have finished measurements of 18" x 24". The rug has finished measurements of 20" x 36". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 20” weaving width
• 2 harnesses
• 12 dent reed
• 240 heddles
• two shuttles plus a flat or rug shuttle

This kit uses Ad Astra 4/2 cotton in 11 Natural and 42 Bluebird. If you would like the colors as shown, simply order above.
