The more you understand a craft the more meaningful it will be, and in this book, Waltin walks us through so much of the process and how and why we spin. Learn about the fleeces and the sheep that wear them. Learn about how different one fleece can be from another and how that affects your spinning and the yarn you make. Tools make a difference too and the way your fiber is processed will be seen in the finished yarn. Processing wool and making your own yarn is a wonderful craft and skill to acquire.
