The Leclerc 15" boat shuttle is the same style as the 11 1/2" regular boat shuttle, but on a larger scale. The ends of the shuttle taper to a slim tip while curving toward the weaver, making the shuttle less likely to catch threads from the upper part of the shed. The closed bottom reduces friction. The shuttle is made of maple with a lacquer finish. The larger shuttle means more heft to get the shuttle across a wide shed. It also accommodates the Leclerc 6" bobbin, so you can weave more before you have to refill the bobbin. (Bobbin not included.)
