The Medieval Cross Stud Buttons from Jul Designs would be perfect for securing a cape or a rustic shawl. The buttons can also be used on vests or sweaters, and since they are removable, they can move from one garment to another! They work like post earrings, where the stud has a post on the back that goes through the fabric, and a leather backing snaps on and holds the stud in place.

The design is rendered in white brass with a leather backing. The studs measure approximately 5/8" across. They are sold as a set of four and come packaged in a reusable tin.
