







Introduction to Crochet for Kids
June 22-23 (Mon.-Tue.) 10 a.m.- Noon 2 days
Crochet is a great introduction for kids to get into fiber arts. They will learn the basic techniques of making a chain and single crochet by making this adorable butterfly. Then make this fun little owl where you'll learn how to change colors. a fun summer project! You will need to purchase 1 skein each of 2 colors in a worsted weight yarn (we recommend Encore) and an H (5.0 mm) hook. Recommended age: 8 and up. By Debbie Matthias.
Supplies to bring, all of which are available at the Yarn Barn:
PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2-hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
