INTRODUCTION TO BRIOCHE KNITTING

June 23 Monday 6-8 p.m. 1 day

You will get an introduction to two-color brioche knitting in this class. There are many beautiful brioche patterns that have come out, but some knitters may be intimidated by the technique. You will learn how to interpret the slip stitches, yarn overs, and special brioche knits and purls while working with two highly contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn. By Carla Tilghman.

• Wool or wool blend worsted weight yarn in two highly contrasting colors
• US 5 needle
• Scissors

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2 hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
